Karen Lill is back to teach her Ethics of Using Art as a Non-Expressive Arts Therapist Workshop once more! This virtual workshop is taking place on March 28th from 10 am to 4:30 pm EST.

As mental health providers, we often use creativity and art to connect with clients and engage in the therapeutic healing that comes from creative expression. In this 5-hour CE course, presenter Karen Lill guides clinicians on how to integrate therapeutic expressive arts tools for use with adolescents and adults. Increase your knowledge and awareness related to the ethics of implementing creative art interventions and increase your confidence in using interventions in safer ways.

After exploring how the field of art therapy is similar and different from other mental health modalities, Karen will train you thoroughly on 6 interventions, including supply lists, directions, and processing questions. For one of these interventions, she will also facilitate the directive so that you are able to participate in art making. This is an interactive course that incorporates both case discussions and experiential learning. Also, you can make art AND earn CE hours at the same time!

This course offers 5 Continuing Education Credits from NBCC.
