Virtual Clinician

I believe that therapy is a powerful tool for positive change. I work collaboratively with my clients to deepen their knowledge of themselves, develop more effective relationships, navigate stressful situations, and build new skills. My approach includes exploring challenges as well as strengths and resources to support change in a clients’ life. I have experience with and enjoy working with diverse populations such as neurodivergent individuals, people with different abilities/disabilities, the LGBTQ community, and immigrants. I am especially focused on helping individuals and families navigate the impacts of differences in identities, ability/disability, and needs during times of loss and change. I am committed to working against and continuing to learn about systems of oppression and seek to offer a healing space that is accommodating and safe for all that I can.

I earned a Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University in 2014. I have engaged in research on social responses to families and caregivers of autistic children and presented these findings to the APA. Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked for many years as a leader in community, education and youth development programs serving people from diverse backgrounds and communities, including children with special needs. I am trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy and enjoy working with both individuals and relationships.

My fee for counseling is $200 for individual counseling and $250 for relationship counseling. I will provide the necessary documentation for out-of-network insurance claims submission. Please check your policy for reimbursement when working with an out-of-network provider.
