TranscendVR VRChat Fundraiser on April 28, 2023

On April 28, 2023, Ria will be joining YouTuber Azeal for a 24+ hour VRChat stream to raise money for the Campaign for Southern Equality. They will be working directly with the organization to ensure funds collected will be earmarked for challenging trans healthcare bans and supporting families.

Azeal is a YouTuber with a channel size of 276k subscribers. He makes content by giving people a platform to tell their stories, something I know we value in our community. He does this in the platform of VRChat, a virtual world with a player base that skews heavily towards queer and trans individuals due to the freedom of self-expression a digital avatar can provide.

The stream will be called Transcend VR and it will be streamed on YouTube but will take place in VRChat as well as having a discord that people that do not wish or are unable to be in VRChat desktop or headset can call into the stream.
